DHAKA: The members of new cabinet will swear in on Sunday as all preparations have completed in this regard.

Cabinet secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made the disclosure in a press conference on Thursday at his office.

Earlier in the day, the newly elected lawmakers of Awami League took oath on Thursday morning.

Parliament Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury administered the oath started at 10:20am.

Later, in second phase, newly elected lawmakers of Jatiya Party in the 10th parliament took oath.

The house speaker administered the oath at 11:14am.
