CHITTAGONG: A driver of three wheeler (Tempu), who sustained burn injuries when blockade supporters hurled petrol bomb at his vehicle, died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mitul, 26, son of Hannan in Daulatkhan of Bhola district.
Police sources said that blockade supporters hurled a petrol bomb on his vehicle, locally known as Tempu, at Polytechnic intersection in the port city on Monday, leaving him critically injured.
Later, the victim breathed his last at burnt unit of CMCH at around 4:00am.
CMCH police outpost Nayek Abul Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
