One more burn victim of the Gazipur fire died on Saturday night, climbing the deaths to 15.

Nadem, 22, breathed his last at the Intensive Care Center (ICU) of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 8 pm.

Resident surgeon of the Burn Institute's emergency department Tariqul Islam confirmed the matter. 

He said that 55 percent of Nadem's body was burnt. 

Earlier, 14 victims died at the institute.

On March 13, a cooking gas cylinder caught fire at a residence in the Mouchak area of Kaliakair Upazila, Gazipur.

When the residents of the house threw the cylinder out on the road, it exploded, leaving 32 people, mostly pedestrians, seriously injured.
