Thousands of devotees at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque have expressed gratitude to Bashundhara Group as the industrial conglomerate provides iftar meals on Saturday, the twelfth of Ramadan.

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Musalli Committee is facilitating the programme on behalf of the industrial conglomerate. Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir is providing the iftar as the chief adviser to the Musalli Committee.

Musalli Committee President Eakub Ali and General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Manik distributed the iftar items among the fasting people on Saturday.

Talking to the media, Eakub Ali appreciated the role of Bashundhara Group for distributing iftar at the national mosque for the third consecutive year.

“Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir is supporting the iftar programme for 3,000 people each day of the Ramadan,” he said.

Rabiul Alam, a commoner, has expressed gratitude to Bashundhara Group for facilitating iftar at the national mosque.

“I wish for the Bashundhara Group’s further prosperity,” he said.
