Dhaka Metro rail authority today (March 25) said metro rail will run for an additional hour from Wednesday considering the passengers’ demand during the month of Ramadan.

The last train from Motijheel will depart at 9:40pm and from Uttara at 9:20pm as per the new schedule.

With the increased operations, metro rail will run 194 times on both sides, while at present, it runs 184 times from 7am to 8:40pm.

The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), meanwhile, has decided to stop operations of metro rail on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
