Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (April 4) arrested three more people in a case filed over the devastating fire at Bailey Road that claimed 46 people dead.

The arrested men are Zasty Restaurant owner Mohor Ali alias Polash, FUCO restaurant owner Abdullah Al Matin and the building caretaker Nazrul Islam Khan.

With this police so far have arrested six people in the case.

Special Superintendent of CID police Md Anisur Rahman (Dhaka Metro South) confirmed the matter.

He said they arrested the three during drives in Dhaka’s Bailey Road and Shantinagar areas.

Forty-six people were killed after the fire broke out at Green Cozy Cottage building at Bailey Road area in the capital on February 29.

A case has been filed with Ramna Police Station on charge of negligence.
