DHAKA: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed reached at Bangabhaban to join the oath taking ceremony to be held at 3:30pm Sunday.

He along with commissioner Brigadier General Md Zabed Ali (retd) has left the election commission secretariat for Bangabhaban at 2:20pm.

However, other Election Commissioners M Shahnawaz, Mohammad Abu Hafiz, Mohammad Abdul Mobarak are not joining the ceremony.

EC sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
