Bashundhara Group is distributing iftar meals among orphans and madrasah students to spread the sanctity and blessings of the month of Ramadan.

The industrial conglomerate shares happiness by distributing iftar meals among 7,000 students of 35 madrasahs on Saturday, the 26th of the holy month.

Under the initiative of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, around 21,000 iftar meals have been distributed in different parts of the country every day of Ramadan.

Around 200 students of Madinatul Ulum Madrasah in the Bashundhara Residential Area took part in the iftar programme on Saturday under the month-long initiative. 

There were well-known Iftar dishes of Chhola Buna, Piyaju, Beguni, Alur Chop, Jilapi, and various kinds of fruits in the dishes. The teachers and students lined up and sat in front of the iftar. After the Iftar, the eyes and faces of the students and teachers glowed with satisfaction.

Maulana Nazrul Islam, assistant headmaster of the madrasah, said that Bashundhara Group also sends food and gifts to madrasah students on various occassions.

“Bashundhara Group stands beside us in any danger. That is why we pray for them regularly. May Allah fulfil the desire of their hearts  We pray for further prosperity of Bashundhara Group,” he said. 

Bashundhara Group also provides iftar meals for 700 students at Jamia Madania Baridhara in the holy month of Ramadan.

Headteacher Mufti Monir Hossain Kasemi said that Bashundhara Group has done a commendable job by sharing happiness among the Islamic schools marking the Ramadan.
