Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members, in a special drive, arrested the chief coordinator of Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) from Bandarban Sadar upazila on Sunday (April 7) afternoon.

The arrestee is Chosim Bom, 55, one of the chief coordinators of the organization's Central Committee.

Besides, RAB recovered two firearms during operation.

RAB-15 commander Lt. Col. HM Sajjad confirmed the matter.

RAB would provide more details later, he said.

Earlier on Saturday, RAB started a crackdown on terrorist activities in Bandarban. More than 100 RAB members took part in the operation.
