Bangladesh Meteorological Department today (April 8) predicted rain or thundershowers at different parts of the country in 24 hours starting from 9:00am.
According to the BMD bulletin, Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said Met office, adding day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 36.7 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and today's minimum temperature was 17.9 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
The sun sets at 6.18am today and rises at 5.43pm tomorrow in the capital.
