DHAKA: The High Court on Wednesday issued a suo-moto rule upon the government with directives to take adequate security measures for minority people as they are being attacked across the country.

An HC bench comprising Justice Kazi Rezaul Haque and Justice ABM Altaf Hossain passed the order.

Former vice president of Supreme Court bar Parimal Chandra Guha brought the issue under attention of the court by placing reports published in different newspapers about violent attack on minority community.
