A fire broke out at Shishu Hospital in Agargaon area of the capital on Friday (April 19).

Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Lima Khanam confirmed the matter. 

She said that the fire originated at around 1:45pm. First five units of firefighters later three rushed to the spot.

However, the reason behind the fire incident could not be known immediately, she added.
