DHAKA: The government will appoint a total of 1749 officials through the 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations soon.

In this regard, the appointment notice will be circulated through Public Service Commission (PSC).

State Minister for Public Administration Begum Ismat Ara Sadek made the disclosure while addressing parliament on Sunday afternoon in response to a written question M Rustom Ali Farazi.

He also told the House that the government would recruit some 15 second class officials, 70 third class and 26 fourth class employees.
