THAKURGAON: Police recovered a throat-slit body and another hanging body from Lohchand village under Haripur Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Tasir Uddin and his son Rustam Ali, 14.

Locals said that Tasir Uddin quarreled with his wife on Saturday noon. Later, victim’s wife along with her younger son and a daughter left home following family dispute.

Following the matter, Rustam locked into an altercation with his father.

On Sunday morning, locals found son’s throat-slit body lying on the floor and father hanging from ceiling and informed police.

Haripur Thana Officer-in Charge Mazibur Rahman told banglanews, “It’s confirmed that Rustam was killed by someone but it is not clear that whether his father commit suicide or murdered.”
