DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Sunday said the acceptance of government and election is totally depends on people’s choice than external suggestion.  

“We have nothing to do with those who did not support the country during the liberation war and still they are not supporting country’s ongoing democratic triumph,” he said.

Joy made the assertion while talking to journalists after attending the oath event of 10th cabinet on Sunday.

Joy also said: “People of the country desperately wanted an election and it was held finally and the voter turnout could have been higher if there had no violence.”

He expressed hope that Bangladesh would be a big IT market worth around $1 billion.
