NOAKHALI: A truck driver was killed and two more injured in a road crash as picketers chased a truck in Bhuiyan Dighi area in Senbagh of the district on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 38, hailed from Feni district.

Locals said a salt laden truck turned turtle at around 8:30pm in the area as picketers chased the truck, leaving three people injured.

On the way of hospital, the truck driver succumbed to his injuries.

Senbagh Thana Officer-in-Charge Saikul Ahmed Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
