DHAKA: Mr. Inam Ahmed has been appointed as General Manager and Mr. Didar-Mohd Dabirul Islam as Head of Finance & Accounts, effective from 1st Jan 2014, for Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL).

A Mechanical Engineer from BUET, Mr. Ahmed worked for highly reputed companies namely BSRM, Abdul Monem Ltd., Abul Khair Steels and Unilever before joining BEOL in Oct, 2011.

As GM, he will be responsible for overall BEOL business. BEOL is a subsidiary of Adani Wilmar Pte. Ltd.,Singapore, a leading multinational in agro-based industries.

Having served BEOL for over 22 years, Mr. Didar successfully performed in various fields of Financial Management & Accounting including statutory areas of Tax & VAT compliance and Company’s Secretarial matters.

With an M. Com. in Accounting, he holds a Certificate of Completion of Services from ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Didar will be reporting to General Managerand will be a key figure in developing and implementing growth strategies for the company.

BEOL is the manufacturer and marketer of some of the country’s top edible oil brands like Rupchanda and King’s.
