DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Monday placed remand BNP student affairs assistant secretary Sultan Salah Uddin Tuku, Chhatra Dal president Abdul Quader Bhuiyan Jewel and Swechchhasebak Dal organizing secretary Shafiul Bari Babu for various term.

Two magistrates Alamgir Kabir Raj and Mahbubur Rahman of Chief Metropolitan Court passed the remand order.

The court also placed 10-day remand to Shafiul Bari Babu in separate cases filed with Ramna and Motijheel Police Stations.

Abdul Quader Bhuiyan Jewel was placed eight days remand in separate cases filed with Ramna and Motijheel Thana while court granted four days remand for Sultan Salah Uddin Tuku in two cases filed with Motijheel Thana.
