MANIKGANJ: Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road accident at Singair upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased are Roni, 21, son of Aiyub Khan and Sajib, 22, son of Abdul Salam of Binodpur village under the upazila.

Singair Thana officer-in-charge Liakat Ali said three friends were going to Singair bazaar by a motorcycle. When the motorbike reached at Ghonapara, it fell into a ditch by lost its control, leaving them injured critically.

They were rushed to Enam Medical College in Savar where on duty doctors declared two dead.
