COMILLA: Two people were killed and another injured in a road accident in Barapara area under Daudkandi Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Ruhul Amin, 55 and Moti Mia, 60.

Sources said that after the driver lost control over the steering, a covered van crashed into an auto rickshaw in the area at around 8:00am, leaving the two passengers dead on the spot.

Sub-Inspector Daudkandi Highway Police Rais Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
