BOGRA: The dawn-to-dusk hartal, called by Local BNP unit, is underway in the Gabtoli upazila of the district on Thursday to resist voting in the Bogra-7 constituency.
    
The movement of vehicles remained stopped. Beside shops and markets were closed in the area.

Following violence by poll resisters during January 5 election, panic is prevailing among the local people.

The voting is underway in 46 polling centers out 161 in the constituency.

Earlier on January 5, the voting was postponed in the constituency due to violence by poll-resisters.
