DHAKA: Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) and International Organization for Migration (IOM) congratulated the newly formed government of Bangladesh.

The premier of North Korea Pak Pong-ju and the Director General of IOM William Lacy Swing conveyed greetings in two different messages.

Besides, the Maldives, Head of International Tele Communication Union (ITU) Dr Hamadoun Touré and the Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Francis Gurry greeted Sheikh Hasina as she took office as Prime Minister of the country for third time.

The Director General of External Publicity Wing of Foreign Affairs Ministry Shameem Ahsan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Moreover, earlier, Russia, China, India, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Nepal conveyed the wish to the newly elected government Sheikh Hasina.
