Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina will visit cyclonic storm Remal-hit areas in Patuakhali on Thursday (May 30).

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader disclosed the information in a press conference at AL President Sheikh Hasina's Dhanmondi political office in the capital today (May 28).

Cyclone Remal, which ripped through Bangladesh on Sunday night, has claimed at least 21 lives and affected over 37.58 lakh people across 19 districts.
