A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and other parts of the country on Wednesday (May 29) evening.
The earthquake was felt at 7:15pm. However, No casualties have been reported so far.
"The quake was felt in Dhaka, Sylhet, Chattogram and other parts of the country," Golam Mostofa, an official of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department told.
Besides, an earthquake reportedly measuring 5.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale hit Myanmar at around 6:43 pm today, tremors of which were also felt in Guwahati and Shillong.
