Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in parts of country, said a met forecast for the next 24 hours from 9am today (May 31).

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," it said.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 36.0 degree Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature today was 22.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Saidpur in Nilphamari. 

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 122 millimeters (mm) at Srimangal.
