BOGRA: Miscreants chopped a man to death with lethal weapon in Dhunat Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Asim Kumar, 25, son of Anil Kumar.

Family sources said that on Saturday, the victim came out of home at around 8:00pm to realize owe money ahead of his daughter’s marriage ceremony to be held on January 26 and went missing.

Later, locals recovered the body at around 8:00am.

Dhunat Municipal Ward no.8 Councilor Al-Amin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
