DHAKA:A Dhaka court on Sunday rejected the bail plea of detained Oishee Rahman, daughter of slain SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and Swapna Rahman.

After hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor rejected the bail plea filed by her lawyer for taking part in the ‘O’ level examinations.

The court also asked the jail authority to provide books and papers her to prepare for ‘O’ level examinations as per jail code.

On January 15, Oishee’s lawyer advocate Prokash Ranjan submitted the bail petition.

Earlier on October 1, 2013, Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge M Jahurul Haque rejected another bail plea hearing on the plea filed by Oishee’s lawyers.

On August 16, police recovered the bodies of Special Branch police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman from their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.

Later, Oishee surrendered to Ramna Thana police in the following day.
