DHAKA: Hall-Mark Group Chairman Jesmin Islam Sunday got bail for four-weeks in a case of wealth statement.
An HC bench comprising Justice Naiya Haydar and Jafar Ahmed passed the order.
Barrister Rafiq-ul Haque on behalf of defendant and Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan on behalf of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) took part in the hearing.
On November 13, 2013, asking wealth statement, ACC sent a notice Jesmin Islam. Later, ACC extended the time for one week.
But till December 11, Hall-Mark Group Chairman failed to submit the statement and ACC filed a case with Ramna Thana.
