A jhoot (garment leftover including scraps of fabric) warehouse in North Kattali of Chattogram caught fire Wednesday morning. Six fire service units were working to control the fire.

The fire broke out from the warehouse near the City Gate Mustafa Hakim Degree College around 10am.

Assistant Director of Fire Service Chattogram Region Abdul Malek said, "There are several garment factories in North Kattoli. A fire broke out in a godown where the warehouses of these factories are kept. On receiving information, six units of three fire stations are working to extinguish the fire.”
