Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) today (June 21) predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at most places over eight divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy rain falls. 

A met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am today said day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 35.4 degree Celsius at Jashore and today's minimum temperature 22.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Jaipurhat.

Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 87millimeters (mm) at Cox's Bazar district.
