DHAKA: The High Commission of India is set to hold a programme at the New Chancery Complex in capital’s Baridhara area on January 26 to mark the Republic Day of the country.

Pankaj Saran, High Commissioner of India, will unfurl the National Flag at 9:00am, to be followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The High Commissioner will then read the President of India’s message to the nation.

Later, children of the Indian community of Dhaka will present a cultural programme on the occasion.

All members of the Indian community are cordially invited to participate in the celebrations, and reach the venue by
8:45am.
