RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY: At least four people, including two admission seekers and a police official, were injured as miscreants blasted cocktails at Binodpur gate of the university on Thursday morning.

The injured are- Juthi, 21, Reshmi, 20, candidates of honors first year admission test for 2013-14 session, detective police man Mujibul and Guard Nazrul Islam, 45.

Witnesses said that cocktails were blasted at around 10:00am while the candidates were entering into campus, leaving four injured.

Later, the injured were given first aid.

Matihar Thana Officer-in-Charge Monirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
