DHAKA: President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

In a message sent to External Publicity Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

The President of Uganda said the re-election of the Prime Minister in the recent Parliamentary elections is a clear testimony of the trust and confidence that the people of Bangladesh have in her able leadership to further socio- economic transformation of Bangladesh.

President Museveni further said Uganda values the warm bilateral relations existing between the two friendly countries and looks forward to working with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take the bilateral relations to a new height.
