Preparations underway to operate Metro rail on Friday

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL) has decided to provide metro rail services even on Friday.

Earlier, metro rail was running six days a week except Fridays.

MAN Siddique, managing director of DMTCL confirming the matter said Metro rail authority has started taking preparation to operate trains on Fridays soon.

To provide metro rail services on Fridays, several works including software changes have to be done. The team is preparing for this, he added.
