Police have arrested 1,515 crime suspects from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours, according to a statement from Police Headquarters.

The statement, issued today, said 982 of those arrested were wanted in previous cases and had active warrants, while the remaining 533 were apprehended for other criminal offenses.

During the drive, police seized a range of firearms and ammunition, including a revolver, a one-shooter gun, a long gun, a pistol, a G3 rifle, an MA-1 variant rifle, an LM-16 variant rifle, a locally made gun, 511 rounds of bullets, seven cartridges, nine magazines, and other locally made weapons.
