COMILLA: Three people including woman and child of a family were killed and eight others injured in a road accident at Chouddagram upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.  

The deceased were identified as Sikandar Ali, 67, his daughter Hosne Ara, 45 and grand daughter Tultul, 11, of Mokultuli area of Comilla town.   

Sources said a passenger bus ran over a microbus around 2:45pm, leaving one people of the microbus dead on the spot and injured 10 others.  

Later, two others were succumbs to their injuries on way to hospital.         

Confirming the matter Miabazar Highway police sergeant Sahabuddin said of the injured, two is in critical condition.
