RAJSHAHI: US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan W Mozena visited three vote centers in Mohanpur Upazila Parishad elections in the district on Wednesday morning.

The US envoy went to Mohanpur Government High School polling center first then visited two other centers.

He was given special security by local administration.

Meanwhile, Mozena talked to presiding officials and concerned people during the visit. But the US ambassador did not give any comments to journalists regarding the Upazila election.

Mozena told the journalists that the United States is observing the upazila election and the reaction will be placed formally in Dhaka after the voting ends.

Earlier on Tuesday noon, Mozena arrived at Rajshahi on a two-day visit.
