Gopalganj: An unidentified man was killed and dumped beside Dhaka-Khulna highway in Sadar Upazila sometime on Friday night.

On information, police on Saturday morning recovered the body with the victim’s throat slit.  

“Beating and slaughtering the assailants might have killed the man,” said SI Nawsher Ali of Gopinathpur police outpost.

The body was sent to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital. A case was registered with Gopalganj thana in connection with the murder.
