A Dhaka court today placed Salman F Rahman, Anisul Huq, and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on remand in three separate murder cases linked to last year’s July-August mass uprising in the capital.
Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqur Rahman passed the orders after police sought remand for interrogation.
Al-Mamun was placed on a three-day remand in the Russel murder case filed with Jatrabari Police, while Anisul Huq received a two-day remand in the Abdul Jabbar murder case under Badda Police.
Salman F Rahman was remanded for three days in the Monir murder case filed with Bhatara Police Station.
