Former members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, dismissed during the previous government’s tenure, staged a protest in front of the National Press Club on Sunday, demanding reinstatement and other benefits.

The demonstration began at 11 a.m., with dismissed personnel joined by their families. Protesters claimed they were unfairly removed from service and deprived of their rights.

Authorities have deployed additional police and military personnel in the area to maintain security.

The protesters vowed to continue their movement until their demands are met.
