The Advisory Council today said that if the interim government is unable to carry out its responsibilities due to obstruction, it will make necessary decisions in consultation with the people.
A statement from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, issued after an unscheduled meeting chaired by Professor Muhammad Yunus, emphasized that the government reflects the will of the people following the July uprising.
"If the government's responsibilities become impossible due to instigation by defeated forces and foreign conspiracies, the government will present all reasons before the nation and take the next step accordingly," the statement said.
