The Police Headquarters (PHQ) today issued a warning urging the public to remain alert against fraudsters impersonating police officers.

In a statement, the PHQ said a fraud ring has recently been using names and photos of police personnel to deceive people. It advised citizens to stay vigilant and avoid falling into such traps.

Legal action is underway against the perpetrators, the statement added, reaffirming Bangladesh Police’s commitment to public safety.
