Dhaka: Body of a chef from capital’s Gulshan 2 area was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Sumon, 20, who was working as chef in a flat at a House 1/D Road 73 in Gulshan 2.

Tarique, the telephone operator of the building, took his body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Tarique told banglanews24.com.bd that Sumon committed suicide by taking pesticide.

He denied providing further details.

Gulshan thana duty officer Nazim confirmed the incident.

Investigation Officer sub-inspector Obaidul told banglanews24.com.bd that they were waiting for the report from the medical before going into any conclusion.
