COMILLA: Bakhrabad Gas Systems Ltd (BGSL) Contractors’ Forum on Sunday formed a human chain in front of BGSL office at Chapapur on the Comilla-Feni Highway demanding resumption of gas supply to residential consumers.

Forum leader Abul Hossain alleged that the authorities have suspended supply of gas to residential consumers in the BGSL area for long time and for this reason some 22,000 consumers are not getting gas connection despite they paid security money.

Hossain said they have announced various agitation programmes including the human chain demanding resumption of gas supply.
