DHAKA: The fifth census of the country will begin on March 15 and continue till March 19, 2011 to determine the latest size of the population and the number of households.

National Statistics Council Thursday fixed the schedule in a meeting held at the auditorium of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) with Planning Minister AK Khandaker in the chair.

Planning Secretary Reeta Ibrahim and BBS Director-General Shahjahan Ali Mollah, among others, attended the meeting.
