LAXMIPUR: Al least 25 people including women and children have been affected by suspected anthrax in Chorbasu area of Kamalnagar upazila

Dr. Shahadat Hossain, the upazila Livestock officer has confirmed ithis as anthrax.

Health Department is providing treatment to the affected people from September 17 in a makeshift health camp set up at Manjilpara.
