DHAKA: An Engineer of Ekushey Television (ETV) was killed in a road accident in Karwan Bazar area of the city on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as KM Alimuzzaman, 36, an Engineer of the private satellite channel.

Witnesses said a BRTC passenger bus rammed him while the victim was trying to cross road at around 07:30pm.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
