DHAKA: Unidentified miscreants have shot dead former additional Police Superintendent Fazlul Karim, 67, in Rampura of the capital on Thursday morning.

Witnesses said that miscreants shot him on head at his residence at 10:00am.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctor declared him dead.

Fazlul Karim, who retired about five years ago, was additional Police Super of Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
