DHAKA: Morshed Jahan Mithun, newsroom editor of banglanews24.com, was injured as miscreants attacked him at Mirpur in the city on Saturday night.

A general diary was filed with Pallabi Thana in this connection.

Journalist Mithun said he was returning home from his office around 11:30pm on Saturday night. On way to his house, at Chowrangi intersection of Mirpur-12, some miscreants attacked, leaving him injured.

He was given first aid at a local hospital.

Pallabi Thana ASI Mofizul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
