DHAKA: The much-awaited Mayor Hanif Flyover is set to be opened to traffic on October 11 aiming to minimize traffic congestion and help smooth movement of vehicles in city.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the flyover.

State Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Jahangir Kabir Nanok made the disclosure the matter to journalists after visiting the flyover on Monday.

Kutubkhali-Nimtoli portion of the flyover will be opened on that day, he added.
